Wasn't sure what to expect, but beyond glad we stopped to eat here. On our way to Paso Robles, we got hungry for breakfast and turned to Yelp. This small, open restaurant that sits on a busy corner popped up. We walked in, were asked to sit anywhere and were helped right away. The waitress and chef were super friendly and worked well together as a team. The fig and goat cheese sourdough toast was spread and cut perfectly. The Crillo (I think that's how you spell it) was on another level. The sauce on the side was indescribably good! The steak was cooked perfectly. Overall it was all amazing!

A delicious Spanish fusion restaurant with quality in every detail. Authentic service and humble beginnings but truly unique place. I love to go for their breakfast almost weekly, and dinner offers some great options too! Can't recommend enough!

Decided to come here for breakfast finally and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant is small but feels very open due to the design. The service was excellent and very attentive. People here are very friendly and warm. The food was sooo good as well. I ordered the Chicharron Sandwich. So much flavor that I'm not sure I'd be able to order anything else! My love got the Steak and eggs dish. The dish was also delicious, only problem was she didn't get much steak. Please fix the portion size on this, it was maybe 4oz of steak at best. She also ordered the hot chocolate which came in a great little hand crafted mug. We will definitely be back for dinner sometime. The food quality alone is worth giving this place a try.

We had an appointment in Camarillo this morning and stopped by Azafran for a bite. Best decision of the day! The food was amazing! We will be back. We had: The hamburger Shrimp tacos Pork belly bites and coconut lemonade. Azafran has good ambiance and the chef and our server were awesome! Oops, almost forgot. The tres leches cake was delicious!

My first time at this restaurant and I was very pleased. Service was attentive and helpful. Our server described some of the dishes and made recommendations. Criollos with scrambled eggs, strips of tender steak on an arepa was unique and delicious. The toast with goat cheese, fig and microgreens was a bit sweet, but the toast was perfectly toasted and the roasted potatoes were served hot along side the toast. French press coffee was the perfect beverage with our breakfast. The ambience is simple and clean.

I felt so guilty for delaying trying this restaurant after we finally went. All this good food could've been in my life for the past 7 months! Everything we had was excellently delicious!! They don't just taste homey but the presentation was pretty too. I had dined here 3x now. I had tried a mix of their breakfast and lunch menu. - Chaufa with pork belly: love this fried rice flavor. - breakfast arepa: I really like this too. Good amount of steak - goat cheese & fig toasts: standard, but lovely. - chicharron sandwich: the pork belly is good, tastes better with the sriracha mayo sauce. - steak and egg: cooked perfectly. - pulpo (octopus): my favorite!! The staff & the chef are super nice and friendly too.

We came here because of the Yelp rating and the food was incredibly tasty with all fresh ingredients. We had shrimp tacos, the burger and a steak chaufa. The server was friendly, and the chef was as well.

So excited to discover this new gem in Camarillo - warm and welcoming service, exquisitely balanced flavor profiles and elevated plating showcases delectable Colombian cuisine. It's a welcome addition to the cultural food scene in Camarillo. My friend and I spent nearly 2 1/2 hours slowly savoring the food and treat. She also ordered a coconut lemonade which was deliciously light and tart- and not at all heavy as I expected it to be with the coconut milk. Shrimp tacos-- juicy, tender, tart and creamy tacos in a corn tortilla that didn't fall apart when handled. As my friend said -- this is not first date food- messy, but finger licking good. Peruvian ceviche, fresh fish, Peruvian corn kernels that are crispy and a good foil to the acidity of the incredibly delectable crudo, which I finished off with a spoon as if it were soup. Sweet potato two ways - a purée with a hint of tart that complimented the sweet, and crispy house made sweet potato chips. The pièce de resistance was the pan seared octopus with a white bean purée that will make you think you're eating the best mashed potatoes you've ever eaten. The octopus is flawlessly seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection. The char is perfect and a morsel of the bean purée with the octopus is out of this world - creamy, crispy, tender, homey and yet so elegant. Tres Leche Cake was delicious with finely slivered pieces of fresh strawberry. Get over there before this place is discovered by too many and is overrun
